Events at the Hall

Fund raising to maintain the Hall to a modern standard is one of the main aims of the Trustees and regular events provide the opportunity to involve the local community whilst raising money
New Year’s Dance

Second Saturday of January each year

The first highlight of the Dumbleton year is the now legendary New Year’s Dance.

A two-course supper, the chance to win instant prizes, take part in the Barrow of Booze raffle and dance ’til late with a live band makes it a not-to-be-missed part of the Hall’s year.

A great chance for the village to come together after Christmas with the opportunity to dress to impress or take part in the fancy dress theme of the year!

Safari Supper

February

The Safari Supper sees us working with our fantastic friends at the Cricket Club and the Village Club to provide a much needed night out in the last month of winter.

A three-course supper – a course at each venue – drinks and prizes to win at the end of the night make this another hugely popular event. Tickets are limited, so don’t miss out!

Saturday Coffee Shop

Usually the second Saturday of the month

The Hall’s Saturday Coffee Shops in the Campbell Room are always popular. Starting at 9:30 am, we serve a range of Fairtrade coffees and teas, delicious home-made cakes and brilliant freshly cooked bacon rolls. In a rush? No problem, have a takeaway!

The Coffee Shop gives the village the chance to come and catch up with the latest news and are the best way to start the weekend.

Wine Bars

Throughout the year

Our first themed wine bar took place for Christmas 2017 and was such a success that we knew we had to do more. Usually based around a theme, the Wine Bars give people the chance to get together over a range of excellent wines, beers, lagers and spirits with occasional nibbles thrown in too!

There’s the chance to win prizes in the big raffle each time too so keep an eye out for the next Wine Bar at the Hall.
